Website information

Content on this website is general product and project information. A submitted form is a request for review, not an accepted order or guarantee of availability or of a quote.

What StairMatch does

StairMatch is a coordination and referral service. It does not make, sell, or ship stair nose itself. StairMatch reviews your request and, with your permission, passes it to our manufacturing partner, who makes stair nose to match your flooring and contacts you directly with a quote. If a project is not a fit for that partner, such as a very small project or a floor it cannot match, StairMatch replies with options instead.

Your quote, order, payment, production, shipping, returns, and any warranty on the stair nose are between you and the manufacturer, under its terms, unless StairMatch states otherwise in writing. StairMatch is not a party to an order you place with a manufacturer, but will help resolve problems where it can.

StairMatch may receive compensation from manufacturers for referrals.

Who this is for

StairMatch is built for LVP, SPC, WPC, laminate, and engineered-wood floors bought at Home Depot, Lowe's, or Floor & Decor, and works best for projects of five or more stairs. Smaller projects are welcome and receive a reply with options.

Color and product verification

Screen images cannot guarantee an exact match. Flooring appearance varies with lighting, screen settings, production runs, and age. The manufacturer buys the matching flooring itself, so the SKU, flooring type, and store you give us decide which product it buys; please check them carefully. You never need to send in flooring, planks, or samples.

Quotes and orders

Pricing, specifications, production timing, shipping, and payment terms are confirmed in the quote you receive directly from the manufacturer before an order is accepted. Custom work may be subject to additional approval requirements.

Manufacturer references

Brand names remain the property of their respective owners. StairMatch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by referenced flooring manufacturers.

Policies

See our shipping, returns, and warranty pages for how orders, shipments, and problems are handled. Orders placed with a manufacturer follow that manufacturer's policies unless StairMatch states otherwise in writing.
