   Find Your Flooring Details

   The flooring box label has everything StairMatch needs. Look for the brand name, color name, and a model or SKU number.

   If you no longer have the box, check your receipt, your Home Depot or Lowe's order history, or the flooring manufacturer's website. Many manufacturers list their SKUs in searchable online catalogs.

   What to look for on the box: Brand name (e.g., LifeProof, COREtec, Shaw) · Color name (e.g., “Antique Oak”) · Model or SKU number (e.g., “HDF01-21”)

   Choose Your Stair Style

   StairMatch offers stair noses and stair tread kits. A stair nose covers the front edge only — used when LVP is being installed on the tread. A stair tread kit covers the full tread surface and is used when covering existing stairs.

   Profile choices include round (bullnose), square (hard edge), and flush (low-profile for tight riser clearance). Closed stairs have walls on both sides. Open stairs need a return — a finished end cap on the exposed side.

   We Review Your Request

   A person at StairMatch checks your flooring brand, color, SKU, photos, and stair details. If something is missing or unclear, we ask you rather than guess.

   Not every floor can be matched. If yours can't, we'll tell you and explain what alternatives there are.

   We Build It, or Match You With a Specialist

   StairMatch builds many matched stair noses and treads ourselves. When we can, we confirm compatibility, quote the work, and prepare your order to your dimensions and configuration.

   If your project needs something we don't make in-house, we pass it to one of our qualified manufacturers who specializes in your type of flooring, along with your project and contact details so they can reach you. You agree to this when you send the request. See the privacy policy.

   You Get a Quote, and Your Order Ships

   If StairMatch is making your pieces, we send pricing and timing, and your approved order ships in long-piece protective packaging to any US address, with tracking.

   If a manufacturer is making them, that manufacturer contacts you directly to confirm the match and quote price, timing, and shipping, and you order from them. If you don't hear from them, contact StairMatch.
