Before you order
Stair noses and tread components can require long-piece packaging. Your destination, piece lengths, quantity, and material determine the available carrier options and shipping cost. The manufacturer confirms those details in your quote.
Timing and tracking
Production and transit timing vary by material availability, profile, order size, and destination. The timing provided with your approved quote is the applicable estimate. Tracking is sent by the manufacturer when a shipment is released to the carrier.
When the shipment arrives
Inspect the outer packaging and all pieces before discarding packaging or beginning installation. Photograph visible damage, keep the packaging, and contact the manufacturer promptly with your order details.
Who ships your order
StairMatch is a coordination and referral service and does not make or ship stair nose itself. With your permission, your project is passed to our manufacturing partner, who contacts you directly, confirms shipping method, cost, and timing in its quote, ships the order, and sends tracking. Contact the manufacturer first about a shipment; if you cannot reach it, contact StairMatch and we will help.
